Camp Gowonagin 2015: Arrival at Camp

It's our first day at Camp Gowonagin!

Kitty tagged along, of course!   ☺   She likes rolling around in the leaves.

I had to take special tour just for counselors, so Meri eagerly volunteered to take the rest of our campers to their opening celebration.   (You probably won't see much of Meri this week, she is begging for me to not take pictures because it will distract her from her activities.   ☺)

Here I am in front of the cabin!   It's shared with several other "cabins", so it's very big.

This is the pathway to the activity area from the cabin.

There are lovely blueberries along the path!   (Though not quite ripe yet...)

There's also a huge mulberry bush!   It must be taller than Anna Catherine!

Here's the activity area!   We have to take our campers here every day.

The trees are lovely here!

It's so lovely and green!

I'm excited for the week to come!
