About Disney Animator's Collection Dolls

My sisters and I are Disney Animator's Collection dolls. Dolls like us can be purchased in several places, such as the Disney Store, Amazon, and Ebay. Anna Catherine has purchased us from each of these. You can also sometimes find dolls of our kind at thrift stores. Our cousin Posie Beth and our sister Poca are both thrifted dolls!
Animator's Collection dolls are relatively inexpensive. It depends on where you buy them from. They will usually be between 20-30 dollars. On Disney property, dolls will be more on the expensive side, usually about 30 dollars or so. Amazon's prices are different for almost every doll. Ebay's prices are irregular, so you should look out for the best deals. New dolls usually come with clothes, shoes, and a pet. If a doll is over 30 dollars on Ebay and doesn't come with everything a new doll comes with, it's not worth the money. There are also playsets that come with a doll and lots of accessories, and those are a lot more expensive. Rapunzel, Cinderella, Anna, Elsa, and Ariel have had playsets.
Animator's Collection has gone through a few editions and styles. For example, here is the evolution of Cinderella's dress through different editions:
There are pros and cons to each edition. It's up to you to read reviews and decide which doll is best for you.
The most important thing is to not be fooled by fake dolls. I have a very detailed post here about the differences between fake and real Animator's Collection dolls. Fake dolls will not have the same quality as the real thing and they have dangerous chemicals in them. Be sure what you're buying is the real thing.
I really think that buying an Animator's Collection doll is totally worth the money. Their hair is easy to care for (as long as you take good care of it from the very beginning), their clothes are beautiful, and they have such sweet faces. These dolls are great for collecting or play.
