I actually did a craft with the girls today! It's inspired by this pegboard that some of the cabins made together. Here's how we made our activity board today in the big camp house!
I started with a cardboard box, tacky glue, and scrapbook paper.
I covered one side with tacky glue...
...then I put on the scrapbook paper.
I put the names of the activities on a different pattern of scrapbook paper...
...along with the name of our cabin. Then we stuck them onto the box with tacky glue. Then, I took the girls outside to our cabin to take some pictures of them.

Then, I uploaded this pictures to the big camp computer and printed them out on cardstock, along with two camp logos.
Using a circular object, I traced around their pictures.
Then, I cut their pictures out.
I glued the camp logos on with tacky glue.
Then, I put some Velcro stickers under the names of the activities.
I put the opposite Velcro sticker onto the backs of the pictures.
Now, the girls can stick their picture under the activity they want to do!
I covered the bare areas of the box up with brown construction paper.
Finished!
I'm about to go help Posie with her crafts, but I thought I'd give you this quick update while the girls are eating some fresh wild strawberries they found around our cabin. I'll show you what Posie and I made tomorrow! I'm really starting to enjoy camp! ☺
