Cinderella Half-Up Hairstyle | Cinderella Week

   Today, I am going to show you how to get Cinderella's beautiful hairstyle on your doll!   (My sweet sister Meri let me do this hair on her since mine is too short, though it took a little bribing!)

Start by rag curling your doll's hair.   Don't know

how to rag curl?   It's super easy!   This tutorial

from Cute Girls Hairstyles will help you!   You'll

need to let the hair stay in the curlers overnight.

The next day, you'll have beautiful ringlets like this!

Now, to begin styling.   Start by taking a small

section from the front of each side of your doll's

head and set it aside for later.   (Meri thinks she

looks like a dwarf from The Hobbit in this picture,

 ☺)

Take a section from the side of your doll's head.  Make sure that

the section isn't from the very top, or you'll be able to see your

doll's scalp when the hairstyle is through, and we don't want that!

Braid the section straight upwards.

Do the same thing to the other side.

Now, you can make the braids look bigger by

pulling at the sides of them.

Wrap them like so across your doll's head.   Pin into place.

Now, take the section that you set aside at the beginning.

Twist it back and pin it, like so.

Do the same to the other side.

Unbraid the part of the braid that shows beneath
the twist.   (You may have to recurl the section.)

You're essentially finished, here's an optional step: I had some

glitter body spray that I sprayed in Meri's hair.   In the picture I

used for reference of Cinderella's hair, you can see some glitter.
