Springtime Wedding Hair

Hello, everyone!   Anna Catherine and Punzie are away for a wedding this week!   (Also, it's my birthday today!   Hooray!)   Punzie wanted to wear her hair differently for the wedding, so I showed her how to do this braid.   Here's how to get a pretty springtime braid that's formal enough for weddings!

Start with clean, slightly damp, detangled hair.

Pull two sections from the front away from the rest of her hair.   We will use it later.

You might want to pull the extra hair back fro this next step!

Anna Catherine got this pretty flower crown from a local jewelry store.

It's a human sized flower crown, so we had to double it over for it to fit Punzie.   Keep those two front pieces of hair in front of the headband!

We hid the elastic under the flower crown.   You can let your doll's hair down, now.

Take the two front pieces and twist them back.

Just like this!

Tie them back with a hair tie that you don't mind being cut later.

Then, french braid the rest of the hair.   Then you can cut the other hair tie out.

You're ready!

Enjoy your springtime wedding hair!

May all of your dreams come true,
Cindy Rose

(P.S. Look what came in the mail!!!)
