Hi, everyone! I know I left you hanging yesterday, but this review went on so long that I had to give it its own post.
This is the final item we won from the giveaway.
It's a Pullip doll!
Her name is Assa. I'm not sure what language the rest of the writing is in.
It took me a long time to get her unboxed! She came with a stand, which is nice. She couldn't stand up on her own.
I decided to try one of mini Ella's dresses on her to see if she would fit into it. Nope! Assa's way thinner than Ella.
Her hair is a really odd texture. It's hard to do anything with! It's very frizzy and long.
I gave her a quick bath to see if her hair would be any better. (Side note: I didn't take a picture because I thought it would be weird, but this doll has some SERIOUS cleavage. I thought the doll was supposed to represent a little girl, so I was a little shocked when I took her outfit off to bathe her.)
I snapped a quick picture of her tiny painted on shoes while I had her undressed.
I put her hair in a bun, so now it should be out of the way when we play with her!
I decided to take some pictures in Anna Catherine's little sister's dollhouse. Notice that she can sit down and move her arms.
This picture is my favorite. ☺
Here's a few close-ups of her face.
Her eyebrows have some very fine details on them.
Her lips were what most impressed me! They're very realistic compared to most dolls I've seen!
She has lovely eyes, too.
Her little outfit has little prints all over.
She also has this weird bag thing on the side of her leg. I think it's supposed to be a pocket, but it doesn't open.
This doll is full of possibilities! I think I may customize her in the future (which is what I see most people doing with their Pullip dolls), but for right now she's hanging out in Poca and Mulan's room.
I think this doll is very cute! There are a few things I dislike, but for the most part I think she's very well made and fun! I'm already looking up possibilities for customization!
The language is Japanese. The photo was blurred, but here's what I could make out: (first line, first character, can't read) second line: There's always MUSIC playing. Get with the beat, every day a fun (something) Check it out, it's that kind of feeling.
