You will need two different patterns of scrapbook paper, a mini Composition notebook, Mod Podge (if you don't have any, you can use glue and water in a disposable cup), a brush, a pencil, a pair of scissors, and glitter glue (optional).
Start by laying the notebook face down on the back of a piece of scrapbook paper.
Draw around the notebook about a half inch away from the actual notebook.
All cut out!
Now, cut some curves out of the edges, so that when you glue it to the inside, it won't be so thick.
Now, it's time to use your Mod Podge. (If you don't have any Mod Podge, mix some Elmer's school glue and some water together in a disposable cup to make a watery paste.
Paint the Mod Podge onto the paper.
Now, put it on the notebook.
Fold the excess down into the inside cover.
Do the same for the back cover.
Now, trace the notebook onto a different pattern of scrapbook paper.
See how well it fits inside your cover. It will be too big, so trim it to size.
You'll need one for the back cover, too. Make sure that they're the same size!
Then, you can Mod Podge them into the inside covers.
You're technically all done, but I wanted to decorate a bit! I folded a bit of the contrasting paper in half and cut a heart out of it.
I then Mod Podged it onto the front cover.
I also put some glitter glue around the heart!
When it was all dry, it looked like this!
May all of your dreams come true,
Cindy Rose
Awesome! I might have to do that in my human size!
